The purpose of this association is to foster and advance the commercial interests of the Greater Plover Area and to sponsor and participate in those activities which may further these objectives. The operations of the association under the direction of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of 8 members at large, the PABA Backer President, the immediate Board Past President, a President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer. To assist in the operations of the association PABA has an Executive Director. General Membership meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month. Special activities such as bowling and golf are held in accordance with the facilities availability. An announcement of an upcoming event is sent to the members approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. The quarterly newsletter, The Plover Advantage, list events for the upcoming 3 months. The fiscal year begins June 1st and Board Members take office at that time. Membership dues are payable yearly. Cost for a general membership is $135; for Newsletter Sponsorship Level - $175; and Major Sponsor is $500. Members joining after December 1 will pay a discounted fee. A Membership Directory is published each year. Membership in PABA shall be open to any individual, organization or firm who have commercial interests in the Greater Plover Area and membership is granted upon payment of dues. |
